I cannot believe it has been over 2 years since we began our journey as Christ Covenant Church here in Olive Branch, Mississippi. It has been longer since my husband told me that he thought he was being called to the ministry. Being the stubborn, selfish person that I am, I fought it internally, denying the fact that it was true!
Once I allowed God control of the fact that this was happening, our life in the ministry began.
The Lord has a way of getting a hold of us and figuratively "shaking" us into reality. I don't know how many other women are out there in the same boat as I am but I would like to know that they are living their lives for the Lord. I am a sinner and fall short of the glory of God every day. But one thing that has changed since our journey began is my outlook on life in general. If I know that I am doing every thing in my power to live for God, then my attitude is better.
Hopefully I can use this blog to encourage others in the ministry. Not sure how to do that but I will do my best.
