I wish I could give you the recipe. But, the truth of the matter is, I made it up. I combined several recipes for the topping and for the whole pie. It was a combination of a regular blackberry pie filling and more combinations for the crumble topping. I basically mixed oats, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, finely chopped walnuts, and melted butter. I am sure there are/were other ingredients but as I said, I was making it up as I went along.
It was funny. My neighbor made a lemon cake and I made this dessert so now the competition is on! Tomorrow we compete to see who had the best dessert!
