Venison Stew and What's New

So, I made a Venison Stew for lunch today.  It was actually pretty good.  Of course, with a stew, the pieces of meat and veggies are quite large, but bite-size.  My husband is prejudice against the big pieces of meat and veggies.  What's up with that?  I am not sure if I will ever make it again, but.... maybe?!

On a random note, today is Mother's Day!  Happy Mother's Day!  Last night my family treated us to dinner- my pick.  Well, my true pick would have been Olive Garden but hubby didn't want to drive that far, so we settled for chinese.  It was nice not to have to cook but better because I didn't have a kitchen to clean up afterwards.

Today, my hubby, the wonderful preacher that he is, provided corsages for the mother's at church.  Since only 2 of us were mothers, there were 2 other corsages.  We let the "mother's to be," our daughters, have the corsages.  I think they liked it!

I am TIRED!  I would LOVE a nap, but for some reason my body is tired but my mind was racing and I couldn't fall asleep.  After several interruptions, I decided it wasn't for this mom to take a nap, so I got up and decided to blog instead.  Arent' you glad? HAHA!

One more random thought, I was putting clothes on the clothesline yesterday.  While I am putting them up I had a thought.  I was spreading the clothes waaaaaayyy apart and stretching the clothes all the way out.  Well, what would happen if I didn't spread them all the way apart and put them closer to each other?  Then I could fit more on the line.  DUH!  The joys of learning to properly put clothes on a clothesline.  I wonder if there is a book or website that actually tells you how to properly place clothes on the line.  I just might have to check it out!

Well, that's all for now.  Hope you have a blessed Lord's day!
