Misery of Math

Anybody else HATE math?

Well, with my daughter, we have used Modern Curriculum Press for Kindergarten. B-O-R-I-N-G! We tried Saxon. It worked OK but Erin was struggling. When our son came along and started school, we also used Saxon with him. Even though he does well with math concepts, since I was changing Erin's, we went ahead and changed him to Teaching Textbooks as well. Erin is thriving on TT. Caleb has entered multiplication and says he doesn't want to do math on the computer. I think he's just struggling with learning the multiplication facts. He just needs to memorize them then we can move on. I think once he masters multiplication we can get back on track with TT. I really like it, Erin likes it. I want him to persevere.
